Students, parents, coaches, teachers, friends, family and teammates gathered in Vacaville High's big gym during the school's lunch break on Wednesday to celebrate eight student-athletes and their college decisions. A long table was lined with university flags, flowers, photos, balloons and placards for each athlete. Parents made sure their child's spot was perfect before their son or daughter arrived. Once all the students were seated, they smiled for their parents' cameras as they signed to play their respective sports at the colleges they have chosen to attend.
